On the 16-18th of July, 2021 the hotel Izmailovo hosted a meeting-training for NGO-partners of the project “Comprehensive programme of vulnerable youth support in reproductive health and social well-being” implemented by FOCUS-MEDIA Foundation with the support of the European Union.
The meeting was attended by 18 people: two representatives from each of nine NGOs- implementers of the project areas: “My Career”, “Journey for Life”, and project monitoring and evaluation programme.
The aim of the meeting was to develop new skills in SMM, fundraising and programme evaluation, as well as present interim results, share experience and best practices. Trainers from Russia conducted sessions on fundraising and social media, while partners from the Netherlands introduced participants to international monitoring and evaluation standards, and “stories of change” aiming to improve activities and present results on project impact at different levels.
Unfortunately, partners from AFEW could not attend the training due to new restrictions on COVID-19 and the session took place in online format. During quarterly report further individual support will be provided.
Participants highly assessed all sessions, saying that they gained a lot of useful information and, the most important thing, shared their experience of working with young people. They also discussed their possible cooperation to minimise risks.
